indolines on iPhone
Cards, profile and every menu work in Safari, no app needed. Only writing blank cards needs the NFC Tools app.
Activate a card
- Unlock the iPhone and hold the card to the top of its back. iPhone XS and newer read NFC without an app.
- Tap the indolines.com notification at the top of the screen.
- Sign up or log in, then enter the card's PIN. The card is linked to your profile right away.
No notification? Scan the QR code on the back with the Camera app. On iPhone 7 to X, open Control Center and choose the NFC Tag Reader.
Add to the home screen
- Open indolines.com in Safari and log in.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- The indolines icon appears on the home screen and opens like an app.
Log in with Face ID: after logging in, create a passkey on the profile page.
Write blank cards or stickers
Apple doesn't let websites write NFC, so "Write to card" only exists in Chrome on Android. On an iPhone, use the free NFC Tools app:
- Install NFC Tools from the App Store.
- In indolines open My cards and copy your card's link for the NFC chip (https://indolines.com/c/…).
- In NFC Tools choose Write → Add a record → URL/URI and paste the link.
- Tap Write and hold the card to the top of the iPhone's back.
- Test by tapping the card. If it's right, lock it (Other → Lock tag) so nobody can overwrite it. Locking is permanent.
Read the card's serial number with NFC Tools (Read) too, then type it into the serial number form.
Easier: ready-made cards
Cards from indolines are already written and locked. You just tap the card and enter the PIN, no NFC Tools needed. Buy a card
